Living 31:27 is the journey to living out Proverbs 31:27 which says “she will manage the affairs of her household and not eat the bread of idleness” as a method to fulfilling my overall purpose. It is the journey to get from where I am now to where I desire to be. I absolutely do not have an orderly house or life, but I want to. I do this so I can put aside the daily minutiae to do bigger more important, purpose fulfilling things like playing with my kids, pouring into the lives of others, travelling at a moments notice with my husband, and being free to go on the path that God is giving me. I do not envision myself as a perfect household manager ever but I want to taste the freedom that you get when your affairs are managed and from not eating the bread of idleness.
